I totally
forgot about this comment design that I created to leave on all of our myspace friends pages. I recently logged in to
a super old photobucket account that we had created when we were site-less. Long behold, this mini HTB advertisement was looking
right at me. Of course I had to throw the new htbcrewstore address on it for a more up to date look but over all, I think
we shall resurrect this from the lost files. Don't be surprised if this little guy makes its way on to your page.
By the way, what the hell happend to
all my sneakers that are in this ad?

JPN MAIL ORDER BRIDES
WORDS BY: D.STEEZY
My mail
order Bride's finally came in after a very long three month wait. The only hiccup in my excitement is the fact that I
no longer have the car that I was going to put them in. It appears that I will have to part ways with these butt hugger's
from the land of the rising sun. Included in the package is everything you need for your car to get the full Bride
treatment. I made sure to order the whole package and spare no expense. You will get front and passenger Bride Zieg III
Low Max seats, front and passenger side brackets and slider as well as the two sheets of fabric to re-wrap your rear seat
so everything in the cockpit coincides.
I paid
$2,400US and am willing to let them go for $2,220US Please feel free to contact me with any interest you may have.
I got
these sent to me last month but I honestly forgot about them. I would literally walk past the box on my way to my desk everyday
until I happened to stumble upon them. Now, first of all I must say that Aki Hoshino is honestly one of my favorite things
to come out of japan. She is seriously up there with Mugen, Hiroshi Fujiwara and Sushi. I guess you can say I have a biased
opinion on this Kiks-Tyo project right off the bat. Okay, now that is out of the way..
The
book is filled with tons of really cool shots of sneakers and mainly Aki. The style of photography is very well done. I honestly
appreciate the perspective that Yonehara Yasunasa uses in his pictures. The Video has tons of photo-shoot coverage and
funny little things that Aki and Yonehara do behind the scenes. There are also some pretty intense scenes of good ol Japanese
style interpretation of "sexy". I recommend that all you Sneaker Lovers out there go and cop these for your collection.
I don't know about you guys but when I do something I like do it to the fullest. My mindset is "go big or
go home". I guess that is why when I got dressed this morning I subconsciously threw on a bunch of coordinating print.
I really didn't pay attention until the cashier at whole foods commented on how much I "matched". I guess this
is the way ones brain works when everyday you look at life as a pattern, color scheme or a lined symmetry.

MALE ACCESSORIES
WORDS BY: D.STEEZY
Whether it be business
or play I feel that you should always have some sort of accessory that defines that individual that you are. Any business
gentleman can obtain a Gucci brief case or lap-top bag and call it a day. Is that really the person he is out of the office
though? I choose to purchase/design items that is tailored to the lifestyle that I portray, in and out of my business atmosphere.
This is the exact reason why I thought I would bring some of my personal accessories
to attention. In the office it is not mandatory for me to be in a suit but I do like to dress well from time to time. Regardless
of what I am wearing I always keep my leather Jordan bag at my hip. It is one of my most favorite items that I own and you
will always see it somewhere near me or in my car. Elephant print to the office? Don't mind if I do.

LALA BREA
WORDS BY: D.STEEZY
Today we decided to
go take some pictures of random things and hit up a few stores. We got on to La Brea to stopped by Union,
Undefeated, Stussy, Volcom and American Rag just to see if anything appealed to us. First of all only two of the visited stores
had something to mention. The Stussy store was having a sale on most of there tees. Pretty much any shirt that you could find
in your size you would have only been $15.00US short in your pocket. That isn't a bad deal if you are like me and hold
Stussy above most. They even had some of the Boneyards collection on hand. The few things that I needed to complete my collection
of course was no where to be found. The second spot that had some amazing additions that had to be thrown into my fashion
collection was at American Rag. There is hardly ever a sale here and it is almost a guarantee that you are going to break
your pocket on some items that move you. Like the saying goes "you have to pay to play". One of my favorite stores
by far on this hip/hype walkway of La Brea.

STRAIGHT MASHIN WORDS BY: D.STEEZY
This
movie has been out for a minute now but I totally forgot about it. It just so happened they were playing it at the RVCA
store in S.F out side of their indoor art gallery. The collection of art work was fixed gear bikes and it totally came back
to memory. I had to get a new copy of it to show those of you that are yet to see it. So for all you L.A. heads
that aren't hip to game on the fixed gear movement, you need cop this and see whats good. The more you watch this
shit, the more you want to pack your bags and hit the bay

HOME SWEET HOME WORDS BY: D.STEEZY
Finally back home again. This was the coldest, shortest, longest weekend of my life. Yes, I know that is contradicting but
we had to cram so much into such a little window of time. The shopping alone was a task in its self. I can't complain,
I copped a lot of fresh goods that is laid out on my couch at the moment. I hope after I write this I will find some
energy lurking from within to put it all away. I hardly see that as an accomplishment that will be met. We unfortunately
didn’t get to hit all the areas of Down Town Frisco that we wanted but we were able to cover a lot of ground in the
time that we had.
The Huf on Sutter was having a 50% off sale in stores one and three.
The line was ridiculous for store one. People literally had to go in by twos and then when you were in it was elbow to elbow.
Store three (sneaker store) had almost everything on sale. I copped 8.5 purple monkeys for $30! Talk about a deal. Store two
had everything at full price. Unfortunately for me it was freezing and I spotted a hoody that I had to have. Stussy on Haight
has the Boneyards Collection in stock right now. I recommend that everyone checks it out. Stussy is one of the very few
companies that I allow on my body. I guess it is because it reminds me of my childhood and their collections and concepts
never disappoint me. Overall the trip was dope. We got all of our work done and even managed to find time to
flee from the SFPD after running a red light on Market
I always hate leaving San Francisco but the
time away never last long. See you again in September.

SAN FRANCISCO AWAITS WORDS BY: D.STEEZY
It is 9:30pm out here and later tonight we head for San Francisco
to start our first round of features. I know it is going to be awesome catching up with old friends and meeting new ones.
I really can’t wait to leave. Earlier today I knew I had to go grab a couple of things before we depart so I could have
a pleasant journey to our destination. On my shopping list I had the essentials, a new pair of black and white vans and diet
rockstars. I anticipated shopping for an hour max since I still have some design work I need to finish then send off before
we head out. I get to the spot and there is no luck on my size 8.5 Vans. Figures, this is always the case. So I chop it up
for a few then my man tells me he has some fairly old stock on ice that he was about to put out. He came back from the back
and first thing that flashes out at me is the rising sun box. Of course that means one thing, deadstok Hosoi’s. I grabbed
them before he could even put them down. I take a look see though other boxes and come up on some authentics, two pairs of
baby monkeys and a fresh out the oven pair of Assault lows. If these are the kind of goodies I am finding before we leave,
I can only imagine what this time around in S.F. is going to bring.

FOURTH OF JULY BITES WORDS BY: D.STEEZY
What a great
Fourth of July! We participated in tons of activities that involved ice cold beverages hitting our lips throughout the day
and into the early morning. After noticing that our stomachs were purely filled with liquids that mostly contained barley
we realized we needed something solid to fill the five pound addition that we put on our bellies. Mr.
AE Motoring and I jumped in to his daily driven EK and made our way to Sanam's. Not only was it open at 3 a.m. but it was also
filled with bodies. We both agreed we would get our regular dishes to go. Shrimp fried rice for the AE boss man and the usual
barbeque chicken for me. There is nothing like bringing your favorite Thai dish home after a long night of explosions that
light up the sky, countless empty bottles and hours of making fun of everyone in room for no apparent reason.
